EXPRESSIONS

Steps to create an expression in Both Word and Excel:

  1. Click on expression icon.
  2. Click on Add button.
  3. Enter the valid name, Return Type of expression.
  4. Click on next button.
  5. To create an expression, select the expression from the function drop down.
  6. Select the tag and attribute value in the expression.
  7. Click on Insert Tag button.
  8. Click on save button.

Functionality of different types of expression that can be used:

  1. Sum Expression

 

 

  1. Count Expression.

  1. SQL Top.

 

  1. Join Expression.

  1. Bottom Expression

  1. Order By:

 

  1. Excel Formulae

  1. Color Expression in miscellaneous

  1. Date Range

  1. Visibility Expression

 

 

  1. Group by Expression.

 

  1. Where Expression

 

 Note : On Entering the tag in comment section using where condition which contains =null and !=null will also work. For example:

·        Insert a table,and add tag

·        After adding tag right click on it and add the comment of null

·        Example: Expression: ([Indextransaction.Originalcost]!=null)

·        The output will come which is not equal to null
